Arthur Logan Tyson, 81 of St. Cloud died Monday, March 20, 2017. A member of a Pioneer Osceola County family, Logan was born in St. Cloud the son of Walt Joel and Viola Margie Parmer Tyson and was a lifelong Osceola County resident. Logan was a retired maintenance employee for the Osceola County Road & Bridge Department. He was a former member of the First Christian Church of St. Cloud. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #80 St. Cloud.
Survivors include: daughter, Waverly (Tony) Padgett of St. Cloud; sister: Mary Wordan of Clewiston, FL.; two brothers: Leslie Tyson of St. Cloud and Lester (Judi) Tyson of California; grandson: Brett Padgett.
Funeral service for Logan will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Roger C. Thompson Memorial Chapel, Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home, with the Reverend Rodney Rowe, St. Cloud Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Active casketbearers: Clay Tyson, Ashton Tyson, Mike Burroughs, Neal Vanosdol, Tobi Johnson and Jeff Farmer.
Interment to follow in the old section Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery with Full Military Honors accorded by the Osceola County Veterans Council.
Visitation will be one hour prior service time in the chapel.
