Bakko, Charlene

On Saturday, February 10, 2018, Charlene Bakko, loving wife and mother passed away after a long battle with cancer. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 54 years, Gene and their two children, Paul and Alan. Charlene will be forever remembered by her grandson, Ryan and her precious great grandchildren, Jacob, Jaden, and Addilyn along with her sisters, Linda and Sandy. She will also be dearly remembered by her extended family and friends.

Charlene was a native to Wisconsin however she lived in Germany with Gene while he was serving in the Air Force. While there, they traveled though out Europe. Paul was born and they relocated back to Wisconsin. Her second child, Alan was born a few years later. The family enjoyed outdoor activities, such as snowmobiles and skiing. She volunteered at the school to spend extra time with her boys. In 1985, the family relocated to Florida. Charlene enjoyed the time spent while living in Solivita Retirement Community playing golf and line dancing.

A Celebration of Charlene’s life will be held on February 24th at 1 pm, at First Baptist Church of Windermere (Lakeside Campus), Winter Garden Vineland Road, Windermere, Florida, 34786. Ph. 407.876.2234
