Damaris Nieves, age 48, of Orlando, FL passed away on May 23, 2017. She was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to Antonio Nieves and Juana Diaz Nieves on September 3, 1969. She received her bachelor’s degree and was a social worker before moving to Orlando, FL.
 
She is survived by her wife Dawn Schirmer; Children Nelida Nieves, Tyaela Nieves; Brothers Jose (Jackie) Nieves, Ramon (Wanda) Nieves, Sisters Carmen (Ruben) Rosario, Nereida Nieves, Leticia Lind, Melissa Nieves, many nieces and nephews and her favorite pet Daisy Mae.
  
Visitation is Tuesday May 30, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at CONRAD AND THOMPSON FUNERAL HOME 511 Emmett St Kissimmee, FL 34741 (407) 847-3188. Services will immediately follow at 4:00 pm. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery Orlando, FL .
