My condolences to the Johnson family. I pray you find comfort in knowing that even though we may loose a loved one in death, God will bring back to life all those found in his memory. (Job 14:15 John 5:28, 29 Acts 24:15) Yes, we have the hope of seeing our loved ones again, and the life to be enjoyed when this takes place will be truly wonderful. (Revelation 21:3, 4)

To Pops and Irene's children and grandchildren,
Our deepest sympathies on the passing of Irene. In our time of knowing her, we appreciated her complete devotion to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was such a doer of the Word and prayer warrior. We appreciated how she loved people. We appreciate her love for Pops and the entire Johnson family. We appreciate how she took care of Pops including a healthy regiment of dietary foods that we had never heard of! We chuckle at that and are so thankful for her commitment to good health, including diligence in exercise. We were so proud of her and her physical preparation for the trip out West. She was able to get up and down in the slot canyons on those ladders at age 90! What a wonderful day that was! Irene's sweet nature was a tremendous example for us all. The way she helped out so many people and offered hospitality to any who needed it. The 80th birthday party that she planned and orchestrated for Pops was a small glimpse of this! What a fun party and her concern about us not lying to get Pops back to the house was even funnier! Lord, have mercy, we did tell a white lie on that one!
Yes, Irene was one of a kind. She will be truly missed! We are thankful though that she is rejoicing in heaven!
Please know that you are in our prayers. We love you, Pops, and wish we were closer in distance to be with you.
