Derek Alan Parsons, 36 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017. He was born in Kissimmee, Florida and a life- long resident of Osceola County. Derek was an electrical superintendent by trade and a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Kissimmee.

Derek is survived by his daughter: Serenity Tess Parsons of Kissimmee, Florida; his companion: Jessica Allsup of Kissimmee, Florida; brother: Paul Parsons (Sharie) of Kissimmee, Florida; sisters: Tara Pinyan (Jamie) of Port Orange, Florida, Denise Stage (Kaleb) of St. Cloud, Florida; mother: Denise Neveu of Kissimmee, Florida; father: Daniel A. Parsons, Bakersfield, California; maternal Grandparents: B. Terence and Jeanne Quigley of Kissimmee, Florida; maternal grandfather: Richard Neveu of the Villages, Florida; Paternal Grandmother: Jeanne Parsons of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Derek was preceded in death by his son Derek in 2003.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1603 North Thacker Ave, Kissimmee, Florida 34741 with Fr. Tim Labo as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Kissimmee, Florida.
