Ernest "Ernie" H. Fontan Jr., 84 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017. He was born in Hackensack, New Jersey and moved to Kissimmee in 1990 from Lynhurst, New Jersey. He was a retired corporate manager. Ernest was also a salesman for Shores Men's Store in downtown Kissimmee and a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

Ernest is survived by his loving wife Avalon Fontan of Kissimmee, Florida; Sons: Ernest H. Fontan III (Susan) of West Palm Beach, Florida, Todd Fontan of Dover, New Jersey and Mark Fontan of Asbury Park, New Jersey. 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1603 North Thacker Ave., Kissimmee, Florida with Fr. Robert Mitchell as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Wauchula Cemetery, Wauchula, Florida.
