Herman Franklin Galon, 81 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017. He was born in New York City, New York and moved to Kissimmee 50 years ago from New York. Herman was a retired Kissimmee Police Sergeant for the City of Kissimmee and a retired United States Army Sergeant serving his beloved Country with Honor and Distinction. Herman was a Christian by faith.

Herman is survived by his loving wife Maxine Galon of Kissimmee, Florida; son: Herman Tyree Galon (Tisa) of Kissimmee, Florida; daughters: Clara Galon Brown of Kissimmee, Florida, Roberta Galon of Winter Park, Florida, and Alverda Galon of Longwood, Florida; sister: Evelyn Hogans of Jacksonville, Florida; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 21m 2017 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home. A Service to Celebrate the life of Herman Franklin Galon will be held at 3:00 P.M. in the Roger C. Thompson Memorial Chapel at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home. Herman will be accorded Military Honors following the Service. Herman will be Laid to Rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
