Isabel Gonzalez, 85 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 peacefully at home with her family by her side. She was born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico the daughter of Jose Gonzalez and Fidelina Ruiz. She moved to Kissimmee, Florida in 1989 from Santurce, Puerto Rico. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Protection of the Theotokos Church and was elevated to Spiritual Mother in the Russian Orthodox Church.

Isabel is survived by her loving children; sons: Jose S. Rios (Marisa) of Kissimmee, Florida, Edwin F. Rios (Alice) of St. Cloud, Florida, Archpriest Juan Carlos Rios of Kiassimmee, Florida; daughters: Olga I. Rios of Jersey City, New Jersey, Lourdes E. Cirilo (Efrain) of Middletown New York, and Isabel M. Rios of Jersey City, New Jersey; brothers: Jovino Gonzalez (Teresa) of Kissimmee, Florida, Jose Gonzalez (Virginia) of Puerto Rico, Juan Gonzalez (Ramona) of Puerto Rico, Avelino Gonzalez of Puerto Rico; sister: Carmen Gonzalez of Puerto Rico; 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

The Gonzalez family will receive friends on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home. A Mass celebrating the life of Isabel Gonzalez will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. George Orthodox Church, 24 North Rosalind Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32801. with Archpriest Juan Carlos Rios as celebrant. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Kissimmee, Florida.
