Matthew Scott Baxter, 26 of Orlando, Florida passed away Friday, August 18, 2017. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Orlando six years ago from West Virginia. Matthew was a Police Officer for the Kissimmee Police Department. Matthew was a Big Brother, Big Sister Volunteer and a Christian by faith.

Matthew is survived by his loving wife: Sadia Baxter of Orlando, Florida; daughters: Sariah Rodriguez, Isabella Baxter, Zarah Baxter and Sofia Baxter all of Orlando, Florida; sisters: Mia Lynne Brown of Kentucky, Hope Danielle Brown of West Virginia, Elizabeth Ann Salyers of Orlando, Florida and Haley Elizabeth Brown-Starry of Middletown, Maryland; mother: Donna Brown of West Virginia.

Visitation for friends will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Orlando. Services to Celebrate the Life of Matthew Scott Baxter will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Orlando, 3000 South John Young Parkway, Orlando, Florida 32805. Matthew will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Orlando, Florida following the Service.
