Michael G. Hall, 64, of Kissimmee, FL, passed away on August 20, 2017 after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.
Michael was born in Bloomington, Indiana on September 29, 1952 to Robert and Velma Hall. He graduated from Bloomington High School in 1970. Michael played first chair trumpet and often performed taps at local services for fallen soldiers. He continued his music education at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Michael moved to Central Florida in the mid 70's.
Michael was married to Nancy Cooper (Clark) on March 27, 1977; together they had Shannon Cooper (stepdaughter), Gina Hall and Carrie Hall.
Michael later married his long-time girlfriend Patricia Collier on August 6, 2017. Patricia lovingly cared for Michael during his battle with cancer and was by his side when he went home to Jesus.
Michael became a self-taught draftsman in 1977 and designed hundreds of homes and commercial buildings in Osceola County for more than 30 years. He loved his work and was passionate about continuing his education in architecture. He was working on his master's thesis in architecture at SIU Carbondale at the time of his passing. Michael will be remembered as a loving husband and proud father and grandfather. Michael's legacy will live on through his family and the many buildings he designed.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Velma Hall; as well as his brothers Dale and DeWayne.
Michael is survived by his wife Patricia and two daughters, Gina Eazor (Shawn), Carrie Hall as well as his step-daughter Shannon Cooper; his 5 grandchildren Darren Hall, Weston Eazor, Mikayla Hall, Malorie Eazor and Sebastian Chavers; his 4 brothers, Robert Hall (Diana), Denny Hall (Rhonda) and Dave Hall; his cousins, nieces and nephews; as well as the rest of his family and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home in Kissimmee, FL.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Roger C. Thompson Memorial Chapel, Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home, with the Reverend Garry Lamb officiating.
Active casketbearers are Darren Hall, Shawn Eazor, Earnest Chavers, Avery Macy, Garry Lamb Jr. and Chris Kowalski. Burial will follow the funeral at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Kissimmee, FL.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic cancer research. The family of Michael Hall wishes to thank the Cornerstone Hospice and the many doctors and nurses that assisted him in his final months.
