My sympathy to Ruby's family for your loss. Ruby was my client, my friend and a very special person. I did her hair for many years and she loved to talk about her family (all good of course). She was so proud of all of you. I look across the street from the salon in which I work and I see the house where Ruby and John made a home full of love and wonderful memories . Cherish those memories because they are their gift to you.

My condolences to the Chitwood family. I pray you find comfort in knowing that even though we may loose a loved one in death, God will bring back to life all those found in his memory. (Job 14:15 John 5:28, 29 Acts 24:15) Yes, we have the hope of seeing our loved ones again, and the life to be enjoyed when this takes place will be truly wonderful. (Revelation 21:3, 4)

Praying for everyone during this difficult time. I loved to hear Aunt Ruby's laughter & can close my eyes and envision her face and hear her laughter. Daddy loved all his sisters but chose Aunt Ruby to name me after. I've always thought Patricia Louise was such a mouthful but never minded being her namesake. Sending love and prayers for comfort to all .

I have fond memories of Ruby and your dad from when I was a young girl. She was a good friend to everyone. I know she will be missed not only by all of you but also her friends.

'Losing a Mother doesn't happen in a moment. It takes years to appreciate the impact of what's gone."
Ruby was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, her faith in God ever faltering.
Ruby i know you and your probably standing to God right now.

So sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I always enjoyed being around her and her sisters at family reunions -- the laughter was never-ending. My mother, Sally Jane, was a first cousin and loved Ruby very much. She spoke of your mother and her sisters all the time. Your mother was truly a wonderful lady who will be greatly missed by all. Praying for your family during this time.
