Mr. D was a true gentleman. I had the blessing on working with him for a few years when I first started my career in the 1990s. He took the time to teach me things about Kissimmee, its history, and the Parks Dept. Mr. D is what every community and City needs - a true ambassador of good and sincere caring of people.

My condolences to the Davis family. I pray you find comfort in knowing that even though we may loose a loved one in death, God will bring back to life all those found in his memory. (Job 14:15 John 5:28, 29 Acts 24:15) Yes, we have the hope of seeing our loved ones again, and the life to be enjoyed when this takes place will be truly wonderful. (Revelation 21:3, 4)

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I witnessed first hand how Mavis made time for his children, especially his only daughter.

Where do you start to talk about Mr. "D".... so many memories. You never knew where you might see Mr. D or when he might just stop by. He was such a part of good ole Kissimmee. He was kind and caring and so very proud of his family and his grandchildren. Always happy to talk about them and keep you updated. I have so many fond memories of him. He was a man of respect. About five years after I retired from the City, I lost my dad and then eight months later my mom. I remember at the funeral home looking up and seeing Bill walk in for both my parents while I was giving the eulogy. It meant a lot then and it means a lot today and I am saddened that I wont be able to do the same for him today. He is in my heart though... as are Judy, the children, grandchildren and all those who loved Bill. You gave us a lot of laughs and good times Mr."D" and will be missed by many. Rest in peace my friend, it was a pleasure to know you, work with you and be apart of all the great stories you shared over the years..

The love and adoration for this beautiful soul knows no bounds. Bill will always be the brightest light to so many people, including myself. My eternal love and gratitude for your friendship, dear Bill. My deepest sympathy to the family. I'm so sorry for your loss. May God strengthen and comfort you during this difficult time as we're awaiting the time when He will eliminate death forever and He will wipe out every tear from all faces. Isaiah 25: 8, 9

Darcy and family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. He was my first softball coach and I will never forget everything he taught me. I have so many fond memories of him on and off the field. I know that a piece of your hearts go with him. Prayers for comfort and peace for you and your family.
