W. Stewart King Jr., 82 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2017. He was born in Mansfield, Massachusetts the son of Willis Stewart and Elsie King. He moved to Kissimmee in 1989 from Wareham, Massachusetts. He was a retired manager for several Hardware Stores in Massachusetts and Osceola County. Stewart was involved in many things, including coaching girls softball, and bowling, He was an avid sports fan. He was also a member of the Improved Order of Redmen and was a protestant by faith. Stewart was also a Veteran of the United States Army Reserves, serving his country proudly.
Stewart is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jean Holliday "Holly" King of Kissimmee, Florida; son: Scott King (Imelda) of Kissimmee, Florida; daughters: Kathy Jean M. King "K.J." of Topeka, Kansas and Nancy Kersey (Frank) of Lakeland, Florida; sister: Phyllis Sjodin of Pensacola, Florida; 4 grandchildren: Tim, Emily, Sean and Sarah.
A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. in the Roger C. Thompson Memorial Chapel at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home.
