Amy Elizabeth German

Amy Elizabeth German, 40, of Orlando, Florida, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Amy was born in Orlando, Florida, the daughter of Rocky and Sheryl Owen. Amy graduated from UCF in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She also graduated from Barry University School of Law in 2013 with a Juris Doctorate degree. Amy was Editor-in-Chief of the Barry Law Review and a member of the Orange County Bar Association.
 Amy is survived by her best friends and daughters Skylar and Aubrey German. Her brothers: Christopher Owen (Ruth) of St. Cloud, Florida, Duane Owen II of Orlando, Florida, Thomas Owen (Jennifer) of Cypress, Texas. Amy had three nephews and two nieces.
 She brought a bounty of beauty to everything she did. Amy was an artist and dabbled in many mediums. She loved to give gifts to her friends and family of artwork that she made. Amy had a huge personality and could light up a room when she walked in. She lived by her own terms and enjoyed life. She had a zest for life that many of us wish we had. Her fun nature was contagious to all that knew her. Amy was such a bright light in this sometimes-dark world. She will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
 A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
