Antonio Velez

Antonio Marrero Velez, age 82, of Kissimmee, Florida passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico on March 4th,1939 to the late Manuel Velez and Carmen Agueda Marrero.

“Toñin” or “Papa”, was the man who would always provide comedic relief to any conversation and make you laugh.  He was also very well versed, no matter the topic. He was a great provider and dedicated family man who loved jibaro (traditional Puerto Rican) music, working out in the yard, and reading the newspaper with a cup of coffee.

His memories will be cherished by his loving wife, Grace Velez of 58 years; children, Grace and Tony Velez of Kissimmee, FL; Grandchildren Angelica of NYC, NY and Tito Bravo of Kissimmee, FL; Brothers Manuel and Victor Velez of Kissimmee, FL; Brother-in-laws Luis and Douglas Bergoderi of Waterbury, CT; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation is Sunday, June 20, 2021 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM in the Roger Thompson Memorial Chapel at Conrad and Thompson Funeral Home 511 Emmett St Kissimmee, FL 34741. The Mass will be on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Divine Child Chapel of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Thacker Ave Kissimmee, FL 34741.
