Aurea Rodriguez

Aurea Rodriguez, 89 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, May 25, 2018. She was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Juan Rodriguez Perez and Felicita Ramos. She moved to Central, Florida in 2011 from Port St. Lucie, Florida. Aurea was a retired from Bausch and Lomb, an optical manufacturing company and was a catholic by faith.

Aurea is survived by her sons: Luis A. Hernandez Jr. (Lucy) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Daniel Hernandez (Carol) of St. Cloud, Florida, Gilberto Hernandez of Kissimmee, Florida, David Hernandez of Viera, Florida; daughters: Mayra I. Lesser (Richard) of Orlando, Florida, Evelyn Marie Hernandez of Stuart, Florida; daughter-in-laws: Debbie Hernandez and Nancy Pabon; sisters: Francisca Santana of Leesville, Louisiana, Eva Cabrera of Boyce, Louisiana and Maria Dolores Santiago of Caguas, Puerto Rico; 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Aurea was preceded in death by her sons: Juan A. Hernandez, Jose A. Hernandez and Henry Hernandez; her brothers: Ramon Rodriguez, Benito Rodriguez, Gregorio Rodriguez and Juan Rodriguez; and her sister; Carmen Baldez.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery, 1615 Old Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee, Florida 34741.
