Barbara Bachem

Barbara P. Bachem, 89 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Thursday, November 14, 2019. She was born in Manhasset, New York and moved to Kissimmee, Florida six years ago from Wilmington, North Carolina. Barbara was a homemaker, and an Episcopalian by faith. While living in Kissimmee she volunteered at Florida Hospital in the Endoscopy Unit, she also worked at Pet Smart with Cat Adoptions and she also rang Hand Bells at the First Presbyterian Church in Kissimmee.

Barbara is survived by her sons: Christopher Bachem of New York and Paul Bachem (Janice) of New Jersey; her daughters: Leslie Hickerson (Steve) of Kissimmee, Florida and Laura Bachem of Aiken, South Carolina; brother-in-law: Tony Bachem of New York; 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Donald C. Bachem.

Services will be held through the Andrew's Mortuary and Crematory, 1617 Market Street,
Wilmington, North Carolina 28401. 910-762-7788. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Donald in Sealawn Memorial Park in Hampstead, North Carolina.
