Charles Eugene "Gene" Beedle 79 of Auburndale, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. He was born in Braddock, Pennsylvania the son of Charles Evan and Pauline Sutman Beedle.
He moved to Kissimmee, Florida in 1998 from Derwood, Maryland and in 2016 moved to Auburndale, Florida. He was a retired Lt. Col. in the United States Army and a Veteran of the Korean Conflict and Vietnam war, serving his country with honor and distinction. Gene was also a member of the Retired Officers Association, the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Gene is survived by his loving wife Carol Sue Beedle of Auburndale, Florida; son: Robert Beedle (Mona) of Auburndale, Florida; brother: John Stephan "Jack" Beedle (Nicole) of Buffalo, New York; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles E. and Pauline Beedle and his son John who passed away in 2009.
Gene will be laid to rest in the St. Andrew's Union Cemetery in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. Services will be conducted by the Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, Pennsylvania 18944; 215-257-2144.
