Charles Wendell "Charlie" Plylar, 68 of Kissimmee, left this life to go home on the afternoon of Monday, March 12, 2018 and joined his parents Emerson and Ruth Plylar and his sister Elizabeth Anne Plylar Read. Charlie was born on January 4, 1950 in Maryville, Tennessee. He and his family moved to Florida in 1958 where Charlie graduated from Osceola High School Class of 1968. He worked with his father at their family business, Plylar's Body Shop, Inc. that was located on East Vine Street, soon after Charlie assumed responsibility of their family business.
Charlie met his soulmate in Downtown Kissimmee and they married in 1980, Pamela Howard of Kissimmee and in 1983 they made their family complete with their son, Bradley Hugh Plylar.
With many successful years at the body shop, Charlie was known to work with dignity and respect for his customers and employees. He and Pam retired in 2006 leaving a staple in the making Osceola County.
Charlie had many pleasures in this life, he and Pam enjoyed together with their son Brad. His love and dedication to his faith and love for God, muscles cars, drag racing and Florida Gators Sports Teams.
Charlie and Pam were dedicated and active in the community with the agriculture programs of Osceola County. He enjoyed time at his ranch home, tending to their property and cattle, long conversations with his son about firearms, and sitting with Pam on the back porch, and enjoying and spending time his grandkids.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pamela G. Howard Plylar; his son Brad Plylar; daughter in law, Andrea and three grandchildren, Teagan, Riley and Sydney.
Funeral Services for Charlie will be held 11:00 A. M. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Bible Baptist Church, 1500 E. Irlo Bronson Hwy, Kissimmee, with the Reverend Joe Williams and Mr. Mark Atteberry officiating.
Casketbearers will be: Bradley Plylar, Ricky Nelson, Hardy Dymmek, Chris Campbell, John DeMichael and Kevin Robert.
Visitation for friends will be one hour prior service time (10:00A.M. - 11:00 A.M.) at the church.
