Claire Marie Palmieri

Claire Marie (West) Palmieri, age 74 of Kissimmee, FL passed away on February 12, 2020.  She was born on October 30, 1945 to Walter Frances West and Eva Marie (Rainey) West in Providence, RI.  She married Paul Albert Palmieri Sr., at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bristol, RI. on October 30, 1965.  They resided in Warren RI and are of catholic faith.

Claire was active in her community volunteering her time as a youth group leader of St Alexander’s Church in Warren, RI.  She also served as a Brownie and Cub Scout leader.  She received her degree as a Medical Assistant and provided care to the infirm.

They moved to Kissimmee, Florida in 1985 where she continued to serve the Poinciana/Kissimmee/St. Cloud communities as a Medical Assistant.

Claire was preceded in death by her parents, sister Janis (West) Rodrigues and Kristen (Palmieri) Herzog’s husband, Haskel Herzog. She is survived by her husband, Paul Palmieri Sr.; son, Paul Palmieri Jr. and his wife Diane of Cocoa, FL.; daughter, Kristen (Palmieri) Herzog of Kissimmee, FL; grandchildren, Reagan Palmieri, Sean Palmieri, Caleb Herzog and his wife Cassandra, Hannah Herzog, Lauren Herzog, Aaron Herzog; and great grandchild, Kana Andrade.
