Columbia Acuna

Columbia “Bobbie” Mascariñas Acuña (née Petalcorin), 70 of Kissimmee, Florida passed on the morning of November 14, 2019.
She was born on New Year’s Eve in 1948, in the town of Inabanga in the province of Bohol, Philippines, to her parents Flaviana and Gregorio. Alum of Rafael Palma College, Bohol Provincial Hospital’s Graduate Nurse degree, and Central Philippine University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, she served as a registered nurse in the Greater Orlando Area for over 35 years.
Wife of the late Macairog “Mac/Koboy” Pascual Acuña, Jr., they had met and married in Indianapolis before moving to Florida. A loving mother and amazing energetic woman, her faith in the Lord unwavering, she leaves a legacy of love and kindness in the stories and memories told by her family, friends, and son.
She is survived by her son, Ian Acuña, her brother, Lidenilo “Dong-Dong” Mascariñas Petalcorin of Butuan City, and her sisters Prima “Mimi” Mascariñas Petalcorin Toombs of Indianapolis and Ma. Salome “Omec” Mascariñas Petalcorin Estilliore of Inabanga.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the Roger C. Thompson Memorial Chapel at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 25, 2019 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1603 North Thacker Avenue, Kissimmee, Florida 34741, with Father Archie Faustino, officiating.
