He was a firefighter/paramedic with Saint Cloud Fire Department for 25 years.
He was predeceased by his father John William Thomas Jr., his mother Gladys Elizabeth Thomas, and his sister Barbara Thomas Leaton.
He is survived by siblings Alice Collins (Cecil), Billy Thomas (Rosetta), Peggy Frost, Joyce Arbuckle (Bob), Bobby Thomas (Jill). Nephews Jeff and Kevin Leaton, Brian and John Frost, John Thomas, and Robert Arbuckle. Nieces Tammy Krause, Marlena Newsome, Katrina Hall, Emily Arbuckle, and Valerie González. Great Nephews 21 and Great Nieces 19.
A Memorial service will be held on January 17, 2022 at 10:30 at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Instead of flowers donations may be made in David’s name to the Fireman Cancer Fund, Vitas or any charity you support.
