Errol Sylvester Jacobs was born on December 13, 1943 in Port Antonio, Jamaica. He was raised by his loving mother Hattie Outar Jacobs and his adopted grandmother Mary White, a Quaker missionary.
While in Jamaica, Errol attended Swift Purcell Trade School where he learned cabinetry. He migrated from Jamaica to New York in 1967. He owned and operated a successful Custom Cabinet & Bathroom business in Long Island for over a decade. He moved his family to Kissimmee, Florida in the early 1980's. Errol then worked as a Master Craftsman for The Walt Disney World Company for 23 years, retiring in 2009 to pursue his dream of farming and raising goats. He enjoyed spending time with his wife & children, traveling with his family, playing cricket, watching sports, cooking, woodworking, and building.
Errol had a sister Anna Murray who is deceased.
He leaves to mourn his loss, a wife: Isabel Jacobs and family, his children: Yvonne Knight, Errol Jacobs and Delita Jacobs, brothers: Kenneth Jacobs (Gloria) Winston, Ena, Sheila Saunders grandchildren Nassengae Stewart Sylvester Stewart and great-grandchild Amanire Stewart, his many nieces and nephews and those who love and respect him.
