It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eunice Hollingsworth on May 16, 2020. Eunice resided with her granddaughter Kayvonne Robinson and Grandson-in-law Michael Robinson in Maryland, and departs this world at the age of 90 while sleeping peacefully.
Eunice was born on October 13, 1929 to parents William and Lorahannah Austin in beautiful St. Lucy Barbados. Eunice immigrated to the United States of America, became a citizen in 1957 and took full advantage of the opportunities her new country had to offer. Eunice was a dedicated employee at St. Mary’s hospital in Brooklyn New York for many years, but she was ambitious and passionate and knew that she wanted more. As a result, of her steadfastness and focus, Eunice became a savvy real estate investor owning an apartment building and two brownstones in Brooklyn New York, and multiple single family homes in Central Florida. Eunice embodied the entrepreneurial spirit and mindset, and her success was an inspiration to those around her.
