Francis Anthony "Tony" Rodeghier,70 of Kissimmee, passed away December 21, 2018. He was born in Tyler, Texas the son of Frank Rodeghier and Lillian Gwin. Tony was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather and friend that was always there for everyone including strangers and all have been there for him over the years.
He was a volunteer Fire Fighter, Ironworker and collector of animals big and small. He lived in Central Florida most of his life and worked on the Bob Carr Theater major renovation back in 1975-77 as well as Epcot's Spaceship Earth and many other major buildings in the area.
Tony was an avid hunter and fisherman, traveling all over the states, sharing his passion with his sons, brothers, nephews and many friends. Tony holds a Pope and Young award for one of the biggest Elk taken with bow and arrow.
Tony was a collector of all things old and unique, often adding to his collection to pass along his treasures to others in his life. He enjoyed nothing more than giving!
A family stranded on the side of the road, out of gas was filled up and provided for the night. A stranger passing by was taken to the diner and given a meal and company.
Known as "2 Beer" to the Osceola locals, he enjoyed having a couple at the local watering hole and telling his funny hunting stories of his swamp excursions.
Mostly, Tony was a sales guy! He spent most of his time as a Wholesale Car Dealer, Auto Sales of Central Florida was his baby! He traveled all over, buying and selling and talking and laughing and having a wonderful life with all the many special car people he met over the years. He was known far and wide by the many auction house staff for his candy, treats and flowers.
Tony was loved by all for his giving spirt and caring smile and loving heart!
Tony is survive by his wife Lisa Patchin of Kissimmee; sons, Ryan Thomas Rodeghier, Kyle Wayne Rodeghier, Anthony Francis Rodeghier; daughter Danielle Tonet (Josh) Weisman; brothers, Gregory (Amy) Rodeghier and Mark (Pam) Rodeghier; sisters Gina (Bill) Lore and Briana Karson and six grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Devine Child Chapel, Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. A Celebration of Life party to follow at the house.
