Gary Ellis Hunter, 66 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at home with his family by his side. Gary was born in Gastonia, North Carolina and moved to Kissimmee over 30 years ago from Gastonia. He was a retired hotel maintenance worker and a Baptist by faith. Gary was also a Veteran of the United States Army serving his country with honor.

Gary is survived by his brothers: Michael Hunter of Gastonia, North Carolina, Keith Hunter of Gastonia, North Carolina, Danny Hunter of Enoree, South Carolina, and Lanny Hunter of Lowell, North Carolina; sisters: Laura Byars of Kissimmee, Florida, Melody Cunningham of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Patricia Foster of Rock Hill, South Carolina. Gary was preceded in death by his loving wife Amy Sue Hunter, his parents, Nancy P. and Jack Hunter and his brother Roy Hunter.
