George Warren Fink, 81 of Intercession City passed away December 21, 2018. Born on March 10, 1937 in Rome Township, Pennsylvania the son of John Palmer and Dorothy Ada Fink. He moved from there to Osceola County in 1958. He was a graduate of Laturnial College in Texas and Rollins College in Wither Park, FL. He served in the United States Army in the 1960's.
George was a professor of Mathematics. He taught at Osceola High School, Winter Haven High School, Intercession City Christian School, Polk Community College and Valencia Community College.
He attended the God's Missionary Church in Kissimmee. George enjoyed reading, teaching math and teaching Sunday school.
George married Barbara Hight on July 21, 1981.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Palmer Fink and Dorothy Ada Henton Fink; his infant sister Lyndell Fink; sister Sharon Balkom ; brothers John Paul Fink and Lloyd L. Fink.
Survivors include wife Barbara Fink; sons: Warren David (Nicole) Fink of Astatula, FL. and Stanley Andrew (Debra) Fink of Intercession City; step sons: James E. Hight of Kissimmee, FL., Richard A. (Lori) Hight of St. Petersburg, FL., Robert H. (Candace) Hight of Thorsby, AL., Jonas P. (Amy) Hight of Duncansville, PA; sister Lisa (Mike) Davis of St. Cloud, FL.; 18 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the God's Missionary Church, 3331 O'Berry Road, Kissimmee, Florida 34746 with Reverend Jonas Hight and Reverend Derek McIntire officiating. Interment to follow with the full military honors accorded by Osceola County Veterans Council at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Kissimmee.
Visitation for friends will be one hour prior service time (10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M.) at the church.
