Gladys Benton

Gladys V. Benton, 87 of St. Cloud, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 4, 2020. She was born in Hockersville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John and Evelyn McGee Haen. She has been a resident of Osceola County since she was 5 years old, though she moved away a few times, she always returned to Osceola County. Gladys was the owner and operator of Little Peoples Fashions in Kissimmee as well as Benton's Jewelry. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Kissimmee, She loved to travel across the country with her husband J.D. and with her loving family. Gladys also loved to teach and watch her granddaughter dance.

Gladys is survived by her son: Devon (Mary) Benton of Kissimmee, Florida; her brother: Harry "Hap" Haen of Kissimmee, Florida; her two grandchildren: Christi Ash of Kissimmee, Florida and Beth Pechin of Clermont, Florida; 4 great grandchildren: Ella age 10, Donald age 9, Mason age 9 and Connor age 5.

There will be a private graveside service to Celebrate the Life of Gladys V. Benton. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or your favorite Charity.
