Irvin Stephen Partin

Irvin Stephen "Grunt" Partin Sr., 95 of Kissimmee, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018. A member of a Pioneer Osceola County family that first moved to Kissimmee area in the 1840's. He was born the son of Clay Stephen Partin and Lily Mae Simmons Partin and was a lifelong Osceola County resident. He was a farmer and a longtime member of the First Christian Church of Kissimmee.
Irvin was known fondly by many of his friends as "Grunt". Many knew him as one of the hardest working people they have ever known. He loved life, ice cream and barbeque. He could make the best barbeque around and he could grow a garden or oranges that many would envy.
Irvin will be greatly missed, we will miss his smile, his laugh and his funny stories.

Survivors include: son, Steve Partin of St. Cloud; two daughters: Mary Lou Tyner of Jacksonville, and Beatrice Farmer of St. Cloud; sister: Minnie Stanley of Bradenton; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services for Irvin will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 9, 2018 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Minister Ross Runnels, Canoe Creek Christian Church, St. Cloud, officiating.
There will be no formal visitation.
