James Dennis McCarthy, 74 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 6, 2022.
He was born in Salem, New Jersey the son of John and Rita Owens McCarthy. He moved to Kissimmee, Florida in 2012 from Hyannis, Massachusetts. James was a retired postal clerk for the United States Postal Service. He was also a member of the Elks Club, the Eagles Club, The Moose Lodge, the American Legion and was a Catholic by faith. James was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving his country with honor and distinction during the Vietnam War.
James is survived by his loving wife, Judith of Kissimmee, Florida; his son Newton; his daughters: Terry and Leann; his brothers: Peter, John, and Pat; his sisters: Rita, Karen, Nancy and Maureen. and 10 grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his son, Scott, his daughters, Nancy and Kelly, and his brother Paul.
A Memorial Celebration of Life Service for James Dennis McCarthy will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 1:00 P.M.in the Roger C. Thompson Memorial Chapel at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home with Chaplain Roland Howard of Vitas Hospice officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made to:
