John Randall Link, 70, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Orlando FL, Thursday May 6, 2021. He was a 1969 graduate of Butler High School and had attended North Main St. Church of God during his school years. He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy, and later pursued a degree in architecture at Kent State University. He worked for Disney World a number of years before establishing his own architectural firm, which he maintained up to the time of his passing.
John is survived by his loving wife Paula, of 12 years, a brother Timothy Link and his wife Laura, 2 step children, 6 step grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews, and many many cousins. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his beloved grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother David, his parents John and Sheldine Link, and his first wife Cynthia Trancik Link.
John held a special place in his heart for ‘Whitehall Camp’ where he attended youth camp and where a huge extended family continues to gather each summer for a week of Family Camp Meeting.

Visitation is at the Roger C. Thompson Chapel of Conrad and Thompson Funeral Home on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. with a celebration of life service immediately following with Pastor Chris from the Trinity Lutheran Church presiding. Inurnment will be on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 12:30 PM with military honors at Florida National Cemetery.
