Joseph Louis Mentrie, age 87, passed away on June 28, 2018. He was born in Hato Ray, Puerto Rico on September 5, 1930 to Pedro and Belen Mentrie. He proudly served in the US Army in Korea and worked as a professional doorman at an exclusive private residence.
He was the husband of the late Leticia Mentrie. He was a loving father of Joseph Louis Mentrie Jr. of West Palm Beach and Desiree Mentrie of Kissimmee, FL; grandfather of Stephanie Mentrie, Sean Kelly, Joshua Kelly, great grandfather of Melanie Mentrie-Lao; Brother of Henry Figeroa of MD, Virginia Malstrom of VA, Elizabeth Otto (Paul) of NJ.
