Laura Helen Purcell, 66 of Saint Cloud, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 29, 2021. Laura was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts the daughter of George and Helen Thomas Green. She moved to Saint Cloud in 2003 from Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Laura was co-owner of Home Instead Senior Care since 2008. Laura was active in the Brevard Association of Human Services, Melbourne Chamber of Commerce, She was nominated for business of the year, she was also a member of the Travel Club of Kissimmee, A former employee of the States Attorney’s office in Kissimmee, Volunteer for the Osceola Center for the Arts, Volunteered at Saint Cloud Hospital, and the Lake Nona Veterans Hospital, a member of the Silver Sneakers and a member of the Quality of Life Association. Laura was also a member of Kissimmee Christian Church.
Laura is survived by her husband, Colin Purcell of Saint Cloud, Florida; her daughters: Allison Jackson and her wife Joann of Winter Springs, Florida and Shelby Silva of Saint Cloud, Florida; her brothers Robert Green and his wife Jeaninne of Estero, Florida, Joseph Green of Estero, Florida; her sisters Marjorie Thompson and her husband J. Bruce of Melbourne, Florida, Suzanne Oliveria of Saint Cloud, Florida; her three grandchildren: Kiana Silva, Ashanti Silva and Emerson Jackson.
