Lawrence Smith

Lawrence (Budd) Smith, age 89, of Kissimmee, FL.

Budd was born December 18, 1928 in Flint, MI to Walter and Mary Smith and passed peacefully on April 29, 2018. After graduating from Otisville High School, he married his high school sweetheart Berneda Mae Buck on June 3, 1950. He worked on his family farm and McDonald’s dairy before working for the City of Flint, MI. He retired as manager/golf pro from Kearsley Golf Course in 1979 and moved to Kissimmee, FL. He enjoyed many years of cutting wood and many miles of travel. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, his daughter Beverly (John) Wilder, son Larry (Debbie) Smith all from Kissimmee. He was blessed with four grandchildren, Phillip Smith, Altamonte Springs; John (Katrina)Wilder II, Kissimmee; Amanda Smith and Nicki (Nick) Brown both from St. Cloud. His legacy continues with five Great Grandchildren, Logan Smith, Haley and Nicholas Brown, and Harper and Jack Wilder. His life was further enriched by very dear nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Conrad and Thompson Funeral Home 511 Emmett St. Kissimmee, FL 34741 with a graveside service at RoseHill Cemetery Monday, May 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Wayne Cook Presiding.
