Lilla Ann Farrell

Lilla Ann Farrell was born in Iuka, Mississippi in 1926 to Mamie and William McKnight, but spent most of her early life in Memphis, Tennessee. Ann graduated from Messick High School in Memphis, then went on to study Business at Blue Mountain College in Mississippi. After graduating from college, she moved to San Francisco, CA, where she met and married Robert George Farrell. Ann and Bob were married for over 56 years up to his death in 2008. They lived in many interesting states and countries over the years due to Bob’s Air Force service. Ann worked for the Civil Service for 39 years. They settled in the Orlando area in 1973.

Ann enjoyed sewing, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family. Ann is survived by her children and their spouses: Catherine Ann and Michael Mohan, Barbara Lee and Randy Thomas, and Robert and Deborah Farrell. In addition to her children, Ann is survived by her grandchildren who she loved dearly: Carlisa Farrell Brannan, Christopher Lee Gaylor, Shaina Lorraine Lotu, Corinne Ann Hudson, and Nathaniel Hagen Farrell. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, Lilla and Gunner.

The family would like to acknowledge the daily love and care Ann received from her sister-in-law, Dianne Farrell, and from the staff at Good Samaritan Memory Care Unit in Kissimmee.

The family has entrusted Conrad and Thompson Funeral Home with the viewing and burial arrangements. The viewing is scheduled for Sunday, 24th of February, 2019, at 511 Emmett Street, Kissimmee FL 34741, from 2:00 P.M - 4:00 P. M. A reception will follow at Robert and Debbie’s home.

Friends and family are welcome to join Ann’s immediate family to say farewell on Monday, 25th of February, 2019, 11:30 A. M., at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513 where Ann will be laid to rest with her beloved husband.
