Linda Jean Kirst

Linda Jean Kirst, age 63 of Kissimmee, FL is now at peace. Her valor and perseverance against the adversary, pancreatic cancer, has given family and friends 6 years of inspiration and courage. She passed away early Sunday morning, December 9th with her son Lee by her side.

Born on April 10th, 1955 Daughter of John and Rita (Schnieder) Gallitz. She graduated from St. Mary’s Springs Highschool in 1974. She married Michael Edward Kirst on October 11th, 1975 at St. John’s The Baptist Catholic Church, in Woodhull, WI.

Survivors include her loving husband Michael E. Kirst. Also survived by her devoted and loving sons Lee Christopher Kirst, Mark Allen Kirst (S.O. Ashley Neff), and Jonathan David Kirst (Fiancee’ Hane Alfonso Valdivia).

Also survived by her mother Rita O. (Schneider) Gallitz. Her sisters Marlene (Jeffrey) Stenz, Barbara (Gary) Schaub and Nancy (Brad) Bloch. Her brothers Daniel, Stanley, Alan, James and Timothy (Mary).

Godsons Jason (Shelley) Schaub, Jacob Gallitz and many other beloved nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Godparents Aunt Joan Giebel and Servatious Schneider

Also remembered by her “besties” Marsha Noland and her son Lance.

Preceded in death by her father John J. Gallitz (2015), her sister Jean M. Gallitz (1979), Grandparents Alphonse and Marceline (Stommel) Gallitz and Emmanuel and Pauline (Casper) Schnieder.
Father-in-law Lester E. Kirst, Mother-in-law Virigina “Betty” (Geinke) Kirst, Grandparents-in-law Edward and Eleanor Kirst and Harold Sr. and Anna (Kraus) Geinke.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at CONRAD AND THOMPSON FUNERAL HOME 511 Emmett St Kissimmee, FL. The family will meet friends one hour prior to the service.
