Maple Dale Aligood, age 60, of Kissimmee, FL passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021. She was born August 22, 1961 in Wewahitchka, FL to Joseph Otho White and Eary Noblin White. She was raised on Lake Seminole in Donalsonville, GA where she was taught her love of nature. Raised in a loving family she graduated with honors from both Seminole County, GA high school and Georgia Southwestern State University. She then began a long career with Amoco Fabrics and Fibers in Atlanta before relocating to Kissimmee, FL in 2004 where she then began her second career as Director of Financial Services for First Baptist Church of Kissimmee, FL. A devout Christian she was active and supportive of many areas in the church. Dale was an avid gardener who loved sharing her flowers with all.
Dale is survived by her husband of 38 years, Doug Aligood of Kissimmee, FL; son, Caleb (Heather) Aligood of Iron City, GA and daughter, Lacey (Justin) Ciejek of Atlanta, GA, 2 grandchildren, James and Evelyn Aligood of Iron City, GA. She is also survived by 4 sisters, Betty (Tom) Roberts of Jefferson, GA, Linda Huckaby (Mac McIntosh) of Marietta, Ga, Mary Simmons of Donalsonville, Ga, Mavis (Bobby) Schauber of Cataula, GA, brother, Wayne (Vicki) White of Albany, GA, brother-in-law, Roger Aligood of Iron City, GA and father-in-law Ray McIntosh of Iron City, GA. Numerous nieces, nephews & friends also survive. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Joe & Eary White, her father and mother-in-law, James & Dorothy Aligood, mother-in-law Annelle McIntosh, a brother-in-law, Jerry Simmons and a nephew, Robert Schauber.
A private family service will be held at a later date in Georgia. In lieu of flowers please make donations to First Baptist Church, 1700 North John Young Pkwy, Kissimmee, FL 34741 in her
honor.
