Margaret Joann Hensel

Margaret Joann Hensel, 89 of Saint. Cloud, Florida passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at home with her family by her side. Joann was born in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Francis Scott Glass and Margaret Claire Gall Glass and moved to Saint Cloud, Florida with her family 75 years ago from Detroit. Joann was a retired teacher, a member of P.E.O., a member of Friends of the Library and a Girl Scout Leader. Joann was a Baptist by faith and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Saint Cloud.
Joann is survived by her sons: Robert S. Hensel Jr. of Saint Cloud, Florida, Drake Andrew Hensel (Dang) of Saint Cloud, Florida; daughters: Julie Higman (Todd) of Englewood, Florida, Cindy Hensel Longbrake of Saint Cloud, Florida; seven grandchildren: Chrissy, Beau, Josh, Kodi, Drew, Heather and Scotty; and great grandchildren: Jayla, Mila, Skyler, Maddie, Alexander, Samuel, Elijah, Lilly and Kayden. Joann was preceded in death by her husband Robert S. Hensel in 1997 and her brother Kenneth Hugh Glass in 2004.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00A.M at Cornerstone Baptist Church. A Service to Celebrate the Life of Margaret Joann Hensel will follow the visitation at 11:00 A.M. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 2925 Canoe Creek Road, Saint Cloud, Florida 34772 with Pastor Nathan Blackwell of Cornerstone Baptist Church officiating. Joann will be laid to Rest at Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery, Kissimmee, Florida. PLEASE Remember, because of the recent pandemic, necessary precautionary measures will need to be taken, SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE REQUIRED as well as WEARING A FACE MASK at the church.
