Michael Frank Matese

Michael Frank Matese, 87 of Poinciana, Florida passed away peacefully Monday, March 5, 2018 at home with his family by his side. Michael was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut the son of Michael and Elizabeth Antel Matese, and moved to Poinciana in 1986 from Fairfield, Connecticut. He retired from the Melt Shop for Carpenter Steel after 31 years of dedicated service. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving his country with honor during the Korean Conflict. Michael was also a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Kissimmee.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Milagros Matese of Poinciana, Florida; son: Michael Paul Matese (Chris) of Charleston, South Carolina; daughter: Elizabeth Zoe Matese of Norwalk, Connecticut; one grandchild: Katrina Isabela Matese of Charleston, South Carolina.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the Devine Child Chapel at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1701 North Thacker Ave., Kissimmee, Florida with Fr. Tim LaBo as celebrant. Interment will follow at Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery, Kissimmee, Florida where he will be accorded Military Honors.
