Neeltje “Nellie” Plank, 77 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021. She was born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, the daughter of Arie Ariese and Gertruida Margaretha Ariese Jansen. She was raised in the Netherlands, later moving to the United States and in 2007 she moved to Kissimmee, Florida from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Nellie was employed at Kegels Seafood Restaurant in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and playing computer games in her spare time. She and her husband loved to travel. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and her bichon fries, Powder Puff. Nellie was truly one of a kind and kept everyone on their toes with her quick wit and sense of humor. She had a fantastic memory and loved a good bargain. Nellie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Nellie is survived by her loving partner/husband of 29 years, Kenneth E. Plank of Kissimmee, Florida; her sons: Christiaan Wubbolt (Beth) of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Martin Wubbolt (Mary) of Jacksonville, Florida and Gregory Plank of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; her sisters: Truus Beekevelt of The Netherlands, Greet Janssen of The Netherlands and Ria Foltz of Millersville, Pennsylvania; 6 grandchildren: Adam, Emily, Matthew, Philip, Zachary, and Scott; 3 great grandchildren: Keira,Arianna, and Jackson.
There will be a Memorial Celebration of Life Service for Neeltje “Nellie” Plank on Monday, March 29,
2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the Roger C. Thompson Memorial Chapel at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Pate officiating.
Following the service, there will be a reception at the Torino lane community pool from 3:00 to 5.30 in Solivita.
PLEASE, Remember at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home, because of the recent pandemic, necessary precautionary measures will need to be taken, SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE REQUIRED as well as WEARING A FACE MASK at the funeral home.
