Nellie Lane McElroy

Nellie Lane McElroy, 84 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, October 26, 2020. She was born in Holmes County, Florida the daughter of Jessie and Louise Faulk Lane, she moved to Kissimmee, Florida in 1964 from Polk County, Florida. Nellie was a retired Nurse and a Baptist by faith.
She loved her family, her job as a nurse and she loved to read.

Nellie is survived by her daughter: Kristina Renee McElroy (Matthew Gertman) of Medford, Massachusetts; her brother: Gerald Lane of King, North Carolina; her sisters: Virginia (Ginny) Oakes of Davenport, Florida and Faye Greenley of St. Petersburg, Florida; her grandson: Connor Xavier Gertman. Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Leo "Bill" McElroy, her parents, Jessie and Louise McElroy and her brother, Willie Ray Lane.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home. A Service to Celebrate the Life of Nellie Lane McElroy will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 30, 2020 in the Roger C. Thompson Memorial Chapel at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Pate of the New Day Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Kissimmee, Florida.
