My condolences to the Maropis family. I pray you find comfort in knowing that even though we may loose a loved one in death, God will bring back to life all those found in his memory. (Job 14:15 John 5:28, 29 Acts 24:15) Yes, we have the hope of seeing our loved ones again, and the life to be enjoyed when this takes place will be truly wonderful. (Revelation 21:3, 4)

Dear Samuel, Colin, Janice, I lived across the street from you at 42 Hightop Road in West Chester from 1957-61 and used to babysit Samuel and Colin. You played with my brother Donald. Our parents were good friends, along with Dick and Betty Rose. Janice, my daughter Sue wore a lot of your old clothes, such as a green coat and a beautifully smocked white linen dress. I have very fond memories of your family and am sorry for your loss. I married in 1961 and now live in Fairfax, VA. My husband also knew your mother and father. Michelle, you are included in our thoughts and prayers. Love to all, Ben and Carol Buckley

We enjoyed knowing your father and his way of weaving science into every conversation. Including correcting Jeopardy responses and Public Television science shows. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families

Nick and I were good friends while he resided in Baden PA. I never knew of his accomplishments until I read his Obituary. He is more the man than I will ever be. I will miss him but I'm pleased to learn of the many accomplishments his passing has revealed.

Nick was a gem at Good Samaritan Village. His participation in Story Telling, Senior Aerobics, and Water Fitness added to the enjoyment of all. We will miss him> Al Putz

Dear Colin, Debbie, Sam, Belle, Janice, Jim and Michelle,
It's been decades since we have seen each other, but your dad and I did stay in touch. I spoke to Uncle Nick earlier in the summer. I was always in awe of him because he just embraced life- not the least bit afraid, or reticent to go anywhere or do most anything despite his age and various health related issues.
At his 90th birthday party he talked about some of his life experiences and it was quite remarkable all that he accomplished and continued to accomplish. He inspired all of us.

My son, Athan, is planning on coming from Naples Florida to Tuesday's service. He will pick up Aunt Frieda, Chris, etc. Despite the sadness of the reason for his coming, it will be wonderful for him to meet family that he has not known before. I am working on whether I can come on Friday or not. I am going to do my best.
With much love, genuine sadness- yet also celebration at his amazing life-- we send you are condolences and hugs,
Hope (aka "Debble" from decades ago) Maropis Barkoukis, my husband Michael, and family- Athan, Andrea/Greg, Leah/Pete...
