A Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother

Join us to celebrate the life of Phyllis Edwards June 20th, 2020 at 3:45 PM at the Conrad and Thompson Funeral Home at 511 Emmett St., Kissimmee FL 34741 where Phyllis’s brother Phillip Pedley Jr. will be officiating. Friends are invited to gather from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM prior to the service.

Phyllis Cynthia Edwards, Age 73, passed away peacefully June 12th, 2020. She was born in Scranton, PA to Phillip and Estelle Pedley on January 12th, 1947. Married her beloved William F. Edwards August 6th, 1966 and had their son Chad E. Edwards July 10th, 1971; brother, Phillip Pedley Jr.; sister, Sharon Nolen; three grandchildren, Dalton, Dakota and Ashley; and one great granddaughter, Dilynn and the long line of love continued.

Phyllis touched every heart that she ever met, an unforgettable and passionate woman. Phyllis took care of many over the years with her business of childcare until retiring with her husband in Apopka, FL to be with family and friends.

Phyllis went to school in Ft. Myers, FL where she became a hairstylist but decided to start her at home day care whenever her son was born. Family was the most import thing to Phyllis, whether it was going to baseball practice with her husband to watch Chad play or making the team snacks for after the game- A mother to all. Holidays or Sunday dinners, there was always a reason to get together and celebrate with her son, daughter-in-law (DeeDee) , grandchildren and great grandchild. This wonderful woman impacted so many lives in her journey on earth and will live in the hearts of many.

Words cannot fathom how grateful we all were having Phyllis in our lives. We cannot thank her enough for showing us all what unconditional love is. She was the type of person who always put others before herself because that is who she is and always will be. She is living proof that angels do exists, she always had a way of making you feel safe and at home whenever you walked through the doors of her home. Now she is walking through the doors of her home to help and protect the loved ones she has missed.

A long, loving and happy life that will be cherished by many and never forgotten.

The Edwards Family would like to thank Advent Heath and Advent Health Hospice Care at this time. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to help Rheumatoid Arthritis patients to receive medication.
