Richard George Connelly

Richard George Connelly, 67, of Kissimmee, Florida went to be with the Lord on November 3, 2022. 
Richard was born on November 5, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York to father, Walter and mother, Josephine. Affectionately known as Richie, he graduated from high school and later pursued a career as a butcher. He met his first wife, Jean at the age of 21. They went on to have a daughter, Shannon. The family moved to Florida in 1990 where Richie continued his career before retiring in 2002. Richie not only touched but saved the lives of many people in the Kissimmee area, serving for years as the President of Kissimmee’s Westside Club for Alcoholics Anonymous where he attended for decades. Always the life of the party, Richie was a lover of great food and good times. He enjoyed fishing with his grandsons, spending time with his dog, Ray, listening to jazz music and relaxing at the beach. Richie leaves behind his second wife, Phyllis Connelly, daughter Shannon, Son-In-Law Daniel, grandsons: Zander (14), Rocco (10), Kroy (7), and Asher (5), ex-wife Jean, brothers Stevie and Wally, as well as nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
