Richard Kenneth Mattern

Richard Kenneth Mattern, 96 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away peacefully on
Monday, May 29, 2023. He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio and moved to Kissimmee
in 1977 from East Liverpool, Ohio. Richard was a retired Safety Engineer. He was a
WW II Navy veteran, member of the American Legion, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason,
choir director, Sunday school teacher, and an elder in the Glenmoor
Presbyterian Church.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Eula Mae Mattern of Kissimmee, Florida; his sons:
Richard Kenneth Mattern Jr, of East Liverpool, Ohio, Larry Wayne Mattern and his wife
Lissette of Kissimmee, Florida, Jeffrey Allan Mattern and his wife Kaye Lynn of Saint
Cloud, Florida; his daughters Dorothy Elizabeth Woessner of Orlando, Florida, Tanya
Leigh Lewis and her husband Mark of Windermere, Florida; his sister: Ruth Naomi
Estell of East Liverpool, Ohio; 12 of his grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his daughter Suzanne Lynn and his grandson Jakob Allan Mattern.

Services will be held in East Liverpool, Ohio through the Dawson Funeral Home 215 W. 5th St., East Liverpool, Ohio 43920; 330-385-1010.
