Robert Edward "Ed" Alderman, 73 of St. Cloud, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018. Born in Bartow, Florida. He moved to Osceola County from Arcadia, Florida in 1966, he was retired Captain with the Florida Highway Patrol serving from May 2, 1966 until June 30, 2001, also was a longtime Special Deputy with the Osceola County Sheriff's Department and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Kissimmee. He was a member of Orange Blossom Lodge #80, F.& A.M., was a Past Patron of The Order Of the Eastern Star Chapter #62 both of Kissimmee, a member of Scottish Rite Bodies, Bahia Shrine Temple both of Orlando. He loved to airboat, cook, hunt and fish.
Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years Barbara Anthony Alderman; Son: Robbie (Stacey) Alderman of St. Cloud; daughter: Beth (Kenny) Wooten of Kissimmee and three grandsons: Cody, Matthew & Mason.
A Celebration of Life Well Lived gathering for family and friends will be 5:30 P.M. on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Alderman's residence, 4340 Mildred Bass Road, St. Cloud, FL. 34772
