Robert R. "Bob" Guynn, 80 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017. He was born in Virginia and moved to Kissimmee in 1960. Bob has been a long time resident of Osceola County and lived in the city he loved, Kissimmee. Bob was a graduate and member of the Corps of Cadets at of Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, Virginia, and a member of the Highty-Tighties Regimental Band at Virginia Tech. He was a founding member of the Committee of 100. A member of the Masons, Elks Lodge, Florida Builders Association and the Osceola County Historical Society. Bob was also Past President and member of the Kissimmee Rotary Club. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Kissimmee.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Patricia Dillow Guynn of Kissimmee, Florida; son: Robert L. Guynn (Katherine) of Alexandria, Virginia; daughters: Courtney Guynn-Martinez (Edward) of Kissimmee, Florida, Catherine Guynn Busse (John) of Atlanta, Georgia; brothers: Jerry Guynn (Patricia) of Atlanta, Georgia, Richard Guynn (Marie) of Carrollton, Georgia; sisters: Shirley Connor (Roland) of Huntsville, Alabama, Judy Fender (Fred) of Jesup, Georgia; grandchildren: Matthew and his new bride Allison, Carter, Leighton, Cydney, Gabriel, Addison and Anna Jane. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Paul Douglas and Anna Ruth Guynn and his granddaughter Madison.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home. A Service to Celebrate the Life of Robert R. Guynn will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11 A.M. in the Roger C. Thompson Memorial Chapel at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery, Kissimmee, Florida.
