Lawson, Robert M. “Bobby”, passed away of natural causes at the age of 75 on June 3rd, 2022. A member of a Pioneer Osceola County family, he was born in Kissimmee, Florida, the son of Dick F. Lawson and Evelyn Donica Lawson and was a life long Osceola county resident. He was a retired Citrus grower owner and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Kissimmee.
He was a known and respected member of the Bass fishing community, and an accomplished fishing captain as well as fishing guide for the Florida pro bass fishing circuit. He enjoyed capturing wildlife and nature photography. He was an athletic trainer for St. Cloud High school where he mentored many.
Bobby was preceded in death by his sister Betty K Lawson, and brother James F. “Sonny” Lawson. Bobby is survived by his son, Bill Lawson of Apopka FL, son, Dustin F. Lawson, US Army currently stationed in TX, daughter, Alycia Lawson of Colorado, daughter, Julia Lawson of St. Cloud FL; grandchildren, Tyler Lawson of Apopka FL, Ashley Lawson of Apopka Fl, Kallie Laubenstein of St. Cloud FL, and Chloe Laubenstein of St. Cloud FL.
He was a loving, giving, and thoughtful man. He was a beloved Patriarch to his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 5:00 PM- 7:00 PM at CONRAD AND THOMPSON FUNERAL HOME, 511 EMMETT ST KISSIMMEE, FL 34741. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Lords Last Supper Section of Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery with Reverend Cathy Thacker of the First United Methodist Church, St. Cloud, Florida officiating.
