Sean Thomas Smiley

Sean Thomas Smiley, 37, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. He was born December 31, 1984 in Freeport, Illinois, the son of David W. Smiley and Kathleen McCarthy. Resident of Florida for all his life. Sean was a talented carpenter and enjoyed cooking. He was a very generous person, who was witty and had a fun personality. Sean was also a catholic by faith.

Sean's greatest loves in his live were his two sons Kaiden John Smiley and Abel David Smiley.
Sean is also survived by his mother: Kathleen McCarthy; Step-father: Frank Farrugia; brothers: A. J. Aquilar (Kelly), Tony Farrugia (Lori); sisters: Mariana Aquilar (Naomie Cineus), Angie Farrugia, Gina Roberts (Olan), and Christine Farrugia; aunts: Michelle Lavish (Dana), Karen Fernandez (Pete); grandmother: Elizabeth McCarthy; several beloved nieces and nephews. Sean was preceded in death by his father David Smiley.
