Viola Hurley, 87 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away Monday, January 8, 2018. She was born in Ebbw Vale, Wales, the daughter of Benjamin B. and Gertrude E. Rice. She moved to Kissimmee in 1970 from Dover Air Force Base in Dover, Delaware. Viola retired from the Osceola County School System and was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Kissimmee.

Viola is survived by her loving husband, Neil W. Hurley of Kissimmee, Florida; son: Paul Hurley of Sanford, Florida; brother: Graham Rice (Mair) of England; sister: Alma Charles of England. Viola was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin B. and Gertrude E. Rice, her daughter Karen Hurley and her brothers Baden and Leonard.

The Hurley family will receive friends on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1603 N. Thacker Ave, Kissimmee, Florida 34741 with Fr. Tim LaBo as Celebrant.
